CRM & Engagement

In a saree house the relationship is the asset. A bridal customer returns for three more weddings; a wholesale buyer visits every season. ambar 27 keeps that relationship on the same record as the transactions, so the person calling the customer knows exactly what they bought, what they returned, and what they were shown last time.

One customer record, not four

The customer is a ledger: their invoices, returns, advances, gift cards, credit balance and statement all hang off the same record. Merge customers cleans up the duplicates that years of counter entry create, without losing history.

  • Customer master with contacts, addresses and multiple GSTINs
  • Customer opening balances for migration from your existing books
  • Merge customers, preserving transactions from both records
  • Customer statement, ageing and outstanding in one view
  • Category-customer mapping for segment-specific pricing and campaigns
  • Inactive customer register for reactivation work

Visits and enquiries — the trade you nearly made

Most footfall does not convert on the day. Capturing the visit, what was shown, and who attended turns a lost afternoon into a follow-up list. Design enquiries record what a customer asked for that you did not have.

  • Visit capture with open, closed and cancelled states
  • All visits register, searchable by customer and period
  • Design enquiry recording demand you could not fulfil
  • Selections linked to the visit, so follow-up knows what was shown
  • Feedback tablets on the floor capturing experience at the point of sale
  • Feedback register reviewed alongside counter and salesperson performance

Calling lists that are actually worked

A calling list is only useful if it is prioritised and closed out. ambar 27 generates lists from behaviour — churn risk, purchase frequency, inactivity — and tracks called versus yet-to-call so the work is visible.

  • Calling list with called and yet-to-call states
  • Customer churn risk report driving proactive outreach
  • Customer purchase frequency and growth rate scoring
  • Inactive customer list for reactivation campaigns
  • Top customers by revenue for relationship management
  • Call outcomes recorded against the customer record

WhatsApp is the channel that gets read

Indian retail customers do not open email. ambar 27 sends invoices, payment receipts, statements and campaign messages through WhatsApp Business as templated documents, triggered from inside the workflow rather than copied out of it.

  • WhatsApp Business API configuration with your own business account
  • Templated document messages for invoice, receipt and statement
  • Campaign sending to a filtered customer segment
  • Chat and channel views for conversations that come back
  • Delivery visible against the transaction it was sent from
  • Auto-reporting so owners get scheduled figures without asking

Reporting

What you can ask of it.

Customer analytics run on the transaction ledger, not a synced copy — so churn risk reflects the return that was processed this morning.

Questions

CRM & Engagement, specifically

Do we need a separate CRM?

No. The customer record here is the ledger, the statement, the visit history and the outreach queue in one place. A separate CRM would need syncing, and the sync is what always breaks.

Whose WhatsApp number sends the messages?

Yours. You connect your own WhatsApp Business account and phone number ID; ambar 27 sends through it using approved templates.

How is churn risk calculated?

From purchase frequency, recency and value trend on the customer’s own history. It surfaces as a ranked list to work, not a black-box score you cannot question.

Can we capture a walk-in who did not buy?

That is the point of the visit record. Capture the customer, what was shown through a selection, and the outcome — so the follow-up call has something to say.

Bring your customer list, however messy.
