Terms of Service
Effective 28 Jul 2026
By creating an Ambar account, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; if any clause is unclear, ask us.
1. The service
Ambar provides a multi-tenant ERP for billing, inventory, payments, and related book-keeping. The features available to you depend on your plan.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We won't ask for your password by email or phone.
3. Your data
The business data you put into Ambar is yours. We store it, back it up, and make it available to you. We don't share or sell it.
4. Payment & billing
Plans are billed in advance — monthly or annually as you choose on the pricing page. Refunds are pro-rated when you downgrade or cancel.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Ambar to break the law or to harm others' systems. We may suspend accounts that violate this.
6. Uptime
We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance.
7. Termination
You can cancel anytime. We'll keep your data for 30 days after cancellation so you can change your mind, then delete it permanently.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months for the service. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll email you. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
10. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes are resolved in courts in your operating state.
